Fair Usage Limits
Each Monthly Active User (MAU) includes 250 events per month. Your monthly fair-use event allowance is your MAU allowance multiplied by 250.
What counts as an event
An event is a tracked action Hopscotch records for a user. Each recorded event counts toward your monthly allowance. Examples include:
- Session started, when someone begins a visit to your app
- Tour started, when a product tour starts for a user
- Custom events, actions you choose to track, such as a feature being used, a button click, or a page visit
